Hong Yang (Year 6 AIA FSC)

Ever since I joined Jerry back then in Oct 2017, he has always been a role model that I looked up to in all aspect. Other than being a leader and a father of 3 girls, he is in the Product Committee & ALMA. On top of all these, he is also a producer in AIA. Despite having to handle so many things, he never once turned down his mentees and FSCs that approached him for help. Instead of spoon-feeding his consultants with direct answer, he would guide the consultants by giving them “homework” to do then learn from it. With all the stuffs that he is currently taking on, I am really in awe with his time management, self discipline and mental strength. To me, Jerry defines “Extraordinary”.​ “The difference between Ordinary & Extraordinary is that little extra.”​

He has always been prompt and patient in answering all my queries, and I know that I can trust him because of his expertise. I've known Jerry for more than a decade. From ex colleagues to friends, he is someone whom one can count on whenever you need advice. To me and my family, he is not just a financial advisor or your typical agent, he is a friend who is always ready to render his help and of course his expertise in his field of profession to make sure that me and my family are well taken care of in our health protection as well as our financial investments. That’s when i knew that he is different from other leaders, who cares about the well-being of his associates.​ I know that I am in good hands under his guidance and very lucky to have him as my mentor. Jerry is very patient and nurturing, an educator at heart. He take time off his busy schedule to conduct training sessions with us and ad-hoc video calls whenever I needed help.​ He’s always ready to respond to my questions even late at night. "I came to know Jerry through my brother Andy about 3 years ago. I remember I was intending to get some plans for my workers and seeking business advice too. Not long after, my missus and I have a daughter going to be enrolled into Primary School soon, we were looking for a savings plan that could aid her future education. Therein lies the connection between Jerry and my family. And my business too :) Jerry is not the first adviser I knew and before knowing him, like many I've had unpleasant experiences not only with the advisers themselves but certain plans that did not turn out ideal for us.
