Jerry has been with my family and our family business for as long as I can remember. He has literally seen me grow up through my various stages of life. But it took an unfortunate series of events that really led me to realise the importance of financial planning and insurance, and got me thinking about how to better manage my own. So who better to find than Jerry? And ever since then, things have gotten for the better. To have a mentor that actively makes time for his team is a difficult find - not to mention that Jerry himself is extremely busy. From weekly training sessions to suddenly having to meet someone the next day, Jerry has always put in his 110% effort in making sure that we are constantly learning. It doesn’t matter whether it’s 11 am or 11 pm, you can always contact him. Couldn’t ask for more! | | | Nady Yang (SUSS undergraduate) It was a fruitful session with Jerry! It was eyeopening as it was my first time meeting a financial advisor and I didn’t know what to expect. But he patiently shared and educated me all the plans and the possible financial paths and decisions I can make now for the future.
Jerry also made the policies' jargons easy to absorb and I think I now have a clearer view of the steps I should take to reach my goals.
Overall, I look forward to learning more from him. Jerry, you again for taking out your time for this session 😆 | | | Esther Lim (Homemaker) My husband and I knew Jerry since 2014. His in-depth knowledge of the field has helped us a huge deal in our financial and insurance needs. Beyond professional expertise, his friendly disposition makes him a great friend as well. Of course, with his whole team, most importantly, you can count on them for prompt claims reimbursement. Definitely recommended 👍🏻 | | | Pearl Lim (AIA MDRT qualifer) I became a mother in 2012 and i made many new mummy friends through Facebook. At that time i was looking for an insurance agent to get some plans for my newborn.
That was when I was introduced to Jerry in 2013 by one of the mummies, Irene.
I got some plans for my son, followed by myself and my other family members as we feel that Jerry is a very knowledgeable and responsible person.
Even though he is very busy with work, he would definitely meet in person to process claims or give financial advice.
At that time, I was a relationship manager handing corporate accounts in a bank. He asked if I was interested to become a financial planner and join him in his mission to save more lives and help people in financial planning. I rejected him straight away as I have insecurities about financial stability as a self employed.
It was after the birth of my second child that I started having problems striking a balance between family and work. Subsequently, I left my job at the bank and joined his team in early 2017.
Since then, I never looked back... even though my first 2 years were tough. I am enjoying my job now!
Jerry continues to handle some of my insurance plans, hence, he is now my planner, my friend, my mentor and also my boss. He gives me a lot of freedom in the way I run my business and he will review my performance regularly and update me on my progress for various campaigns and awards and motivate me to achieve more.
Because of his constant support in this career, I am thankful that I was able to achieve MDRT this year despite the pandemic situation. | | | Wilert Goh (Founder at WoodAndWalls) "I came to know Jerry through my brother Andy about 3 years ago. I remember I was intending to get some plans for my workers and seeking business advice too. Not long after, my missus and I have a daughter going to be enrolled into Primary School soon, we were looking for a savings plan that could aid her future education. Therein lies the connection between Jerry and my family. And my business too :)
Jerry is not the first adviser I knew and before knowing him, like many I've had unpleasant experiences not only with the advisers themselves but certain plans that did not turn out ideal for us. So before I met Jerry, my brother knew my expectations and he wasted no time in referring him.
Now if there is an overachiever(Jerry hope you don't mind my using of the term! I meant well) in the Financial Advisor/Insurance line, this man is the personification of the aforementioned term. I place good emphasis on details when it comes to my line of work and I serve my own customers with vigour and passion so in a way, I hope I was accorded a similar service. Jerry patiently fed me so much information that I became gleefully overweight in my head. I totally welcomed that with joy. He explains the plans and dispenses advice not from a personal profitability POV but with my interests at heart.
To cut the long story short, I was immensely impressed by his passion, his neverending thirst for knowledge and not least his love and care for his clients.
I do not have many people I can readily turn to for advice on almost anything. Jerry is definitely in that list" | | | Matthew (MOE Educator) & Rebecca (Full-time tutor) Jerry was my (Rebecca) classmate in university and has always come across as a warm and helpful friend.
Today, also as our financial advisor, he continues to give timely advice and a listening ear to our concerns. There were instances where we consulted him and his unassuming nature and objective perspective encouraged us greatly in our decision making process.
We are thankful that our paths have crossed and we would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends who are in search of a trusted and reliable advisor.
Thumbs up for Jerry! | | | | |
