I became a mother in 2012 and i made many new mummy friends through Facebook. At that time i was looking for an insurance agent to get some plans for my newborn. That was when I was introduced to Jerry in 2013 by one of the mummies, Irene. I got some plans for my son, followed by myself and my other family members as we feel that Jerry is a very knowledgeable and responsible person. Even though he is very busy with work, he would definitely meet in person to process claims or give financial advice. At that time, I was a relationship manager handing corporate accounts in a bank. He asked if I was interested to become a financial planner and join him in his mission to save more lives and help people in financial planning. I rejected him straight away as I have insecurities about financial stability as a self employed. It was after the birth of my second child that I started having problems striking a balance between family and work. Subsequently, I left my job at the bank and joined his team in early 2017. Since then, I never looked back... even though my first 2 years were tough. I am enjoying my job now! Jerry continues to handle some of my insurance plans, hence, he is now my planner, my friend, my mentor and also my boss. He gives me a lot of freedom in the way I run my business and he will review my performance regularly and update me on my progress for various campaigns and awards and motivate me to achieve more.
