Hong Yang (Year 6 AIA FSC)

Ever since I joined Jerry back then in Oct 2017, he has always been a role model that I looked up to in all aspect. Other than being a leader and a father of 3 girls, he is in the Product Committee & ALMA. On top of all these, he is also a producer in AIA. Despite having to handle so many things, he never once turned down his mentees and FSCs that approached him for help. Instead of spoon-feeding his consultants with direct answer, he would guide the consultants by giving them “homework” to do then learn from it. With all the stuffs that he is currently taking on, I am really in awe with his time management, self discipline and mental strength. To me, Jerry defines “Extraordinary”.​ “The difference between Ordinary & Extraordinary is that little extra.”​

Jerry is the first person that comes to my mind whenever I need any financial advice. I met Jerry in 2015 where we started out as work partners. Throughout the years of supporting him as a BDM, I know he is definitely someone whom a person can trust fully in terms of personal or financial advice. I then decided to leave my insurance needs in his hands. Despite his ever busy schedule, he ensured that I’m aware he’s always still around. We’ve got to admit this, there are insurance agents out there who can never be found. Jerry went the extra mile in providing advice when I decided to take a leap of faith to purchase my first property. Without this, I would have been so lost in planning my finances. All I can say is Jerry is definitely the man to go to. He’ll never fail or disappoint you. He’s a GEM and I really appreciate all that he had done for me.

That’s when i knew that he is different from other leaders, who cares about the well-being of his associates.​ I know that I am in good hands under his guidance and very lucky to have him as my mentor. Jerry is very patient and nurturing, an educator at heart. He take time off his busy schedule to conduct training sessions with us and ad-hoc video calls whenever I needed help.​ He’s always ready to respond to my questions even late at night. Even though my journey have just started, I’m already looking forward to reach greater heights with Jerry and the team.​
