Jerry has been my family’s trusted financial planner for many years. This all began when he aided my parents with their motor insurance. Unnecessary insurance costs were cut and it helped in the growth of my family business. Jerry, caring and knowledgeable, would always respond swiftly to the needs of my family. It is unfortunate that my family had to made a few claims over the years. However, with Jerry’s meticulous financial planning, all claims thus far were successful and it has greatly brought peace of mind to my family. Further, with proper financial planning that Jerry has provided, my parents will be able to retire with a comfortable sum of money for them to enjoy retirement to its fullest. These have showed me the works of comprehensive financial planning and how it aids in bringing peace to the affected individual and family members. Being a people’s person, this showed me how I materialize the empathy I have for others through this career.

I first met Jerry in 2019 when I was curious about the financial industry and is looking for a good opportunity to join. I have talked to a few planners before eventually deciding to join Jerry’s team. One of the main reasons is that he gave me a very clear and objective view of the industry and what to expect etc. and he was very genuine in his sharing. Now, moving forward, Jerry is my mentor and he has inspired me to be a more hardworking individual. He has provided me with guidance in my journey as a student financial planner and he is always there to listen, help and give feedback even though he is very busy. Ever since I joined Jerry back then in Oct 2017, he has always been a role model that I looked up to in all aspect. Other than being a leader and a father of 3 girls, he is in the Product Committee & ALMA. On top of all these, he is also a producer in AIA. Despite having to handle so many things, he never once turned down his mentees and FSCs that approached him for help. Instead of spoon-feeding his consultants with direct answer, he would guide the consultants by giving them “homework” to do then learn from it. With all the stuffs that he is currently taking on, I am really in awe with his time management, self discipline and mental strength. To me, Jerry defines “Extraordinary”.​ “The difference between Ordinary & Extraordinary is that little extra.”​

Ernest Toh (Year 2 AIA FSC, Year 3 NTU Undergraduate)

“Focus on your studies, I want you to do well in studies”, that’s was what Jerry told me during our first meet up. That’s when i knew that he is different from other leaders, who cares about the well-being of his associates.​ I know that I am in good hands under his guidance and very lucky to have him as my mentor. Jerry is very patient and nurturing, an educator at heart. He take time off his busy schedule to conduct training sessions with us and ad-hoc video calls whenever I needed help.​ He’s always ready to respond to my questions even late at night. Even though my journey have just started, I’m already looking forward to reach greater heights with Jerry and the team.​

Since the day Jerry started in his current role, he manage our insurance policies for my immediate family members. Although we had advisers before him, we did not come across someone who is as responsible and hardworking as him.
