Hong Yang (Year 6 AIA FSC)

Ever since I joined Jerry back then in Oct 2017, he has always been a role model that I looked up to in all aspect. Other than being a leader and a father of 3 girls, he is in the Product Committee & ALMA. On top of all these, he is also a producer in AIA. Despite having to handle so many things, he never once turned down his mentees and FSCs that approached him for help. Instead of spoon-feeding his consultants with direct answer, he would guide the consultants by giving them “homework” to do then learn from it. With all the stuffs that he is currently taking on, I am really in awe with his time management, self discipline and mental strength. To me, Jerry defines “Extraordinary”.​ “The difference between Ordinary & Extraordinary is that little extra.”​

“Focus on your studies, I want you to do well in studies”, that’s was what Jerry told me during our first meet up. That’s when i knew that he is different from other leaders, who cares about the well-being of his associates.​ I know that I am in good hands under his guidance and very lucky to have him as my mentor. Jerry is very patient and nurturing, an educator at heart. He take time off his busy schedule to conduct training sessions with us and ad-hoc video calls whenever I needed help.​ He’s always ready to respond to my questions even late at night. Even though my journey have just started, I’m already looking forward to reach greater heights with Jerry and the team.​

I met Jerry in 2021 as a manager of my FSC during that time and Jerry amazed me with his meticulous analytical skills and how he provided quality advice for my financial portfolio. Hence, I felt very assured that my friend - whom is also my FSC at that time, found a reliable mentor and manager. Moving forward a year later, I approached Jerry when I was considering to join the insurance line, and I never looked back ever since. Since the day Jerry started in his current role, he manage our insurance policies for my immediate family members. Although we had advisers before him, we did not come across someone who is as responsible and hardworking as him. Detail explanations in our liabilities and protection, diligently help us during mishap and claims, responsible when comes to updates and renewal, I can say, he has covered the protection and security part of our lives.
