I met Jerry in 2021 as a manager of my FSC during that time and Jerry amazed me with his meticulous analytical skills and how he provided quality advice for my financial portfolio. Hence, I felt very assured that my friend - whom is also my FSC at that time, found a reliable mentor and manager. Moving forward a year later, I approached Jerry when I was considering to join the insurance line, and I never looked back ever since. Jerry has been an extremely supportive leader who is always there for me when I needed both contextual and practical guidance for my work. As a new FSC in 2022, the unwavering support Jerry provided me was beyond what I expected him to do. Till today, whenever I needed help, Jerry never says no. Thank you Jerry for making me conceptualise that I made the right choice for choosing this industry and for choosing you as my manager/mentor. I am looking forward to many more years to working with you and to achieve greater heights! 💯

Jerry has been my family’s trusted financial planner for many years. This all began when he aided my parents with their motor insurance. Unnecessary insurance costs were cut and it helped in the growth of my family business. Jerry, caring and knowledgeable, would always respond swiftly to the needs of my family. It is unfortunate that my family had to made a few claims over the years. However, with Jerry’s meticulous financial planning, all claims thus far were successful and it has greatly brought peace of mind to my family. Further, with proper financial planning that Jerry has provided, my parents will be able to retire with a comfortable sum of money for them to enjoy retirement to its fullest. These have showed me the works of comprehensive financial planning and how it aids in bringing peace to the affected individual and family members. Being a people’s person, this showed me how I materialize the empathy I have for others through this career.

I first met Jerry in 2019 when I was curious about the financial industry and is looking for a good opportunity to join. I have talked to a few planners before eventually deciding to join Jerry’s team. One of the main reasons is that he gave me a very clear and objective view of the industry and what to expect etc. and he was very genuine in his sharing. Now, moving forward, Jerry is my mentor and he has inspired me to be a more hardworking individual. He has provided me with guidance in my journey as a student financial planner and he is always there to listen, help and give feedback even though he is very busy. “Focus on your studies, I want you to do well in studies”, that’s was what Jerry told me during our first meet up. That’s when i knew that he is different from other leaders, who cares about the well-being of his associates.​ I know that I am in good hands under his guidance and very lucky to have him as my mentor. Jerry is very patient and nurturing, an educator at heart. He take time off his busy schedule to conduct training sessions with us and ad-hoc video calls whenever I needed help.​ He’s always ready to respond to my questions even late at night. Even though my journey have just started, I’m already looking forward to reach greater heights with Jerry and the team.​

Pearl Lim (AIA MDRT qualifer)

I became a mother in 2012 and i made many new mummy friends through Facebook. At that time i was looking for an insurance agent to get some plans for my newborn. That was when I was introduced to Jerry in 2013 by one of the mummies, Irene. I got some plans for my son, followed by myself and my other family members as we feel that Jerry is a very knowledgeable and responsible person. Even though he is very busy with work, he would definitely meet in person to process claims or give financial advice. At that time, I was a relationship manager handing corporate accounts in a bank. He asked if I was interested to become a financial planner and join him in his mission to save more lives and help people in financial planning. I rejected him straight away as I have insecurities about financial stability as a self employed. It was after the birth of my second child that I started having problems striking a balance between family and work. Subsequently, I left my job at the bank and joined his team in early 2017. Since then, I never looked back... even though my first 2 years were tough. I am enjoying my job now! Jerry continues to handle some of my insurance plans, hence, he is now my planner, my friend, my mentor and also my boss. He gives me a lot of freedom in the way I run my business and he will review my performance regularly and update me on my progress for various campaigns and awards and motivate me to achieve more. Because of his constant support in this career, I am thankful that I was able to achieve MDRT this year despite the pandemic situation.

It was a fruitful session with Jerry! It was eyeopening as it was my first time meeting a financial advisor and I didn’t know what to expect. But he patiently shared and educated me all the plans and the possible financial paths and decisions I can make now for the future. Jerry also made the policies' jargons easy to absorb and I think I now have a clearer view of the steps I should take to reach my goals. Overall, I look forward to learning more from him.
