Maybe I should start by sharing how I met Jerry before I joined him as an FSC. Jerry has been with my family and our family business for as long as I can remember. He has literally seen me grow up through my various stages of life. But it took an unfortunate series of events that really led me to realise the importance of financial planning and insurance, and got me thinking about how to better manage my own. So who better to find than Jerry? And ever since then, things have gotten for the better. To have a mentor that actively makes time for his team is a difficult find - not to mention that Jerry himself is extremely busy. From weekly training sessions to suddenly having to meet someone the next day, Jerry has always put in his 110% effort in making sure that we are constantly learning. It doesn’t matter whether it’s 11 am or 11 pm, you can always contact him. Couldn’t ask for more!​

Jerry is not only my financial advisor, he is my trusted friend for many years. We were colleagues when Jerry was working at MOE. Jerry was introduced by our best friend who assured us that he's the bestest person in his industry. When we first knew Jerry we felt immediately at ease. We shared our concerns, financial backgrounds and our needs for insurance with him. He treats everyone like his closest friend and he shows compassion, knowledge and wisdom. Jerry is a typical example who goes beyond and above even though he is the boss himself and doesn't put on any airs with any clients, big or small. My wife and I place our complete trust and faith with him not just as an insurance agent but as a lifetime friend!

It was a fruitful session with Jerry! It was eyeopening as it was my first time meeting a financial advisor and I didn’t know what to expect. But he patiently shared and educated me all the plans and the possible financial paths and decisions I can make now for the future. Jerry also made the policies' jargons easy to absorb and I think I now have a clearer view of the steps I should take to reach my goals. Overall, I look forward to learning more from him. Pearl Lim (AIA MDRT qualifer)

I became a mother in 2012 and i made many new mummy friends through Facebook. At that time i was looking for an insurance agent to get some plans for my newborn. That was when I was introduced to Jerry in 2013 by one of the mummies, Irene. I got some plans for my son, followed by myself and my other family members as we feel that Jerry is a very knowledgeable and responsible person. Even though he is very busy with work, he would definitely meet in person to process claims or give financial advice. At that time, I was a relationship manager handing corporate accounts in a bank. He asked if I was interested to become a financial planner and join him in his mission to save more lives and help people in financial planning. I rejected him straight away as I have insecurities about financial stability as a self employed. It was after the birth of my second child that I started having problems striking a balance between family and work. Subsequently, I left my job at the bank and joined his team in early 2017. Since then, I never looked back... even though my first 2 years were tough. I am enjoying my job now! Jerry continues to handle some of my insurance plans, hence, he is now my planner, my friend, my mentor and also my boss. He gives me a lot of freedom in the way I run my business and he will review my performance regularly and update me on my progress for various campaigns and awards and motivate me to achieve more. Because of his constant support in this career, I am thankful that I was able to achieve MDRT this year despite the pandemic situation.

Whitney Ting (Year 7 AIA FSC)

“格局” and “Let’s not waste time moving around, I’ll settle it for you” were the first few words that truly anchored something in me and from there, the rest is history. When you’re overwhelmed and hard on yourself internally, he remains the calmest person in the room, always finding a way to reassure you while quietly working to make things happen with his depth of knowledge and experience. A great leader or mentor makes you feel safe, supported, and confident that you’re in good hands. That alone is enough for me to continue this journey together, striving for a greater breakthrough. Thank you for the strong connections you build with those around you, and for constantly elevating your knowledge and experience in ways that uplift and benefit others. One day, we’ll meet at the level I’m working towards. Keep shining with that positive inner strength and impacting people around you. 🍀
